We recommend avoiding direct contact between your Bauerfeind product and body lotions, creams, oils, perfumes and other cosmetic products.

Some ingredients in these products may affect the specialised knitted fibres, potentially reducing their elasticity, compression and overall performance over time.

To help protect your product:

• Avoid applying perfumes or sprays directly onto the fabric.

• Allow skincare products to absorb fully before putting on your brace or compression garment.

• Avoid excessive product residue on areas covered by compression garments.

• Wash your Bauerfeind product regularly according to its care instructions.

If you use a prescribed cream or topical treatment, follow your healthcare professional's advice and check whether it is compatible with your compression garment.
