Do I need to remove rigid components before washing my Bauerfeind brace?Updated 4 hours ago
If your Bauerfeind brace contains a detachable rigid compartment, we recommend removing it before machine washing the fabric components.
Soft components, including knitted fabric, straps and padding, can generally be washed on a gentle cycle at 30°C or under.
Rigid components should not be placed in the washing machine.
For braces with non-removable rigid components, follow the product's specific cleaning instructions.
After water activities
If your brace has been worn in a swimming pool, the ocean or other water, rinse the entire product, including rigid components, thoroughly with fresh water to remove salt, chlorine and other residues.
Always refer to your product's care label and Instructions for Use (IFU).
