Regular washing will help to counteract stretching. For light use, washing every two to three uses is ideal. For heavy use more frequent washes may be required.

Many braces on the market are made of neoprene - a synthetic material used to make wetsuits - or similar materials. Neoprene doesn’t “breathe” and traps sweat, which leads to unpleasant smell and breeding ground for bacteria.

Bauerfeind products are different because they’re made of high-quality knitted material. Knitted braces are more durable, moisture-wicking and can be easily washed in a regular washing machine.

Bauerfeind braces and supports provide the flexibility and support to allow you to play your favorite sports. For sports where the brace will have multiple high-impact encounters with the court or other hard surfaces, remember the brace is not a substitute for a knee pad. Failure to use a knee pad could result in excessive wear and tear that is not covered by product warranty.
