How often should I replace my medical compression stockings?Updated an hour ago

For medical-grade compression stockings worn consistently, we generally recommend replacing them approximately every six months to maintain their intended therapeutic compression.

With regular wear, the specialised elastic fibres naturally experience gradual changes, which may reduce the compression provided over time.

Even when stockings appear to be in good condition, their compression effectiveness may have decreased.

To help maintain their performance:

  • Wash your stockings regularly according to the care instructions.

  • Avoid excessive stretching, sharp objects and harsh chemicals.

  • Check for changes in elasticity, fit or compression.

  • Replace stockings approximately every six months with consistent wear, or as advised by your healthcare professional.

The six-month recommendation relates to maintaining therapeutic compression and does not represent the product is defective.
