What happens if my return does not meet the conditions?Updated 13 days ago

If your item does not meet Bauerfeind’s return eligibility criteria—including hygiene, quality and resalable condition standards—your return may be declined or may incur a restocking fee.

Our team carefully assesses every returned product to ensure it is safe, hygienic, and in suitable condition to be accepted.

When a return may be declined

Your return may not be accepted if the item:

  • Shows signs of use, wear, or activity

  • Has been washed, damaged, altered, or soiled

  • Is missing original packaging, tags, components, or accessories

  • Does not meet hygiene requirements (e.g., personal use items)

In these cases, the product will be sent back to you, and no refund or store credit will be issued.

When a restocking fee may apply

A restocking fee (up to 30%) may be applied, subject to goodwill, if the product:

  • Arrives without all packaging or inserts

  • Shows minor handling that affects resalable condition

  • Requires additional processing to restore presentation

If a restocking fee is required, you’ll be notified before the return is finalised.

Items that cannot be returned under any circumstances

  • Compression socks/stockings

  • Insoles

  • Custom products

  • Special orders

  • Sale and clearance items

These are final sale and will be returned to you if sent back.
