Does normal wear and tear mean my product is faulty?Updated 6 days ago
Not necessarily.
Bauerfeind products are designed to support movement during everyday activities and, like all wearable products, will naturally show signs of use over time.
Normal wear and tear doesn't automatically indicate a manufacturing defect or mean a product is eligible for warranty.
Examples of normal wear may include:
- Gradual loss of elasticity.
- Minor fabric pilling or cosmetic wear.
- General signs of use consistent with the product's age and intended purpose.
- Wear to components that occurs through regular use.
If you're concerned about the condition of your product, our Customer Support team can help determine whether a warranty assessment is appropriate.
Every warranty claim is assessed individually based on the product's condition, reported issue and available supporting information.
